Why Jeri Athome?
There are different places where to stay in Jericoacoara, being Jeri Athome not a typical hotel or pousada but a little guesthouse with heart and soul. A place conceived for independent travelers and backpackers looking for affordable accommodation without giving up cleanness and comfort. Our guests enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and homey touch.
The rooms are in a private lodging house, set within a large garden with regional plants and shade providing coconut and cashew trees.The location is privileged, central and quiet: close to Jericoacoara Beach (about 3 minutes walk) and the village center (about 1 minute walk), where most of the restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. can be found.
Despite being new, at the beginning of 2010 renovations were carried out on the property, to offer guests additional space and more comfort.
Jeri Athome also offers W-Fi internet, laundry services, a small library with book exchange…
The pousada is run by the multilingual owner, who personally cares for visitors to have a great stay in Jericoacoara. You will get helpful information and arrangements for activities and tours, might be lucky to taste her homemade dinner and the best caipirinha (with the chance of learning how to prepare)!
Jeri Athome is one of the few properties suitable also for mid or long term vacation rental in Jericoacoara - for giving guests the option of self-catering, the feeling of being home and attractive discounts.
Facilities for common use:
There are spacious, breezy verandas facing the garden and surrounded by tropical plants. For relaxing or to socialize, you will find plenty of hammocks and amenities. There is also space for self catering, for drinks, reading, a chat with acquaintances...
Integrated with the veranda, a kitchen with every convenience like fridge, oven-stove, toaster, coffeemaker... is available for free and around the clock.
Our mid-long term staying guests especially appreciate the self-catering facilities, for the opportunity of saving $ and enjoying a home-made meal.
Rooms:
There is a limited number of rooms, which means personal service. Each is different, being all comfortable en-suites (bedroom with bathroom) with ceiling fans, mosquito nets and shelves for your belongings. Some have a private balcony.
Bathrooms have hot showers and day-light windows.
We offer: private single, twin, double and max.3-bed en-suites, no dorms or bunk beds.
Rooms are cleaned daily, fresh bed linen and towels are provided regularly.
Room prices:
From R$ 25 to R$ 45 (Brazilian Real) * per person sharing a room with double occupancy, depending on the season.

Special discounts for long-term stays. The longer you stay, the less you pay.
Prices vary according to the period of the year (high season from July to February, low season from March to June).
Rates might be higher during special holidays like New Year and Carnival.
If you are looking for cheap accommodation, amongst many Jericoacoara hostels we offer good cost-benefit for your stay in our village.
The whole property can also be rented exclusively.
